Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale Mode Might Not be Available At Launch
Spotted by Gamerant, the information about Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode comes from Kick streamer, rivaLxfactor. rivaLxfactor’s latest post on X (formerly Twitter) states that he has heard from two sources that Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode “will not only be free to play but won’t come out till months after the base game.” His tweet adds that things are subject to change “between now and then.” Readers should take this information with a grain of salt as it doesn’t come from an official source.
Details about the BF6’s battle royale mode have been surfacing recently, thanks to the efforts of numerous dataminers. Recently, footage of this game mode surfaced online, revealing specific details such as the map being set in California, insertion via a CH-47 Chinook, and a destructive ring made of a compound called ‘NXC’. Regardless, these are all subject to change as they were work-in-progress material based on the BF Labs alpha client. Maybe more details will be revealed during the Battlefield 6 Multiplayer live stream, set for July 31.
