‘Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’ Part 4 Will Be the Anime’s Final Season

The third installment of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War comes to an end over the weekend. Shortly after, Aniplex also announced the anime’s return for a fourth season, which will also be its final installment, entitled The Calamity.

As the fight between the Soul Society and the Quincies continued to intensify, Uryu’s motives were finally unraveled. The episode ended as Uryi urged Ichigo, Sado and Orihime to return to the World of the Living, while he plans to stay behind to put an end to the war — by defeating Haschwalth and Yhwach.

The fourth part, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, will continue to adapt the final chapters from Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga. By the end of Part 3, the anime has caught up to Chapter 661 from Volume 72. The new season will likely pick from chapter 662 and will cover everything until the end.
