CMF by Nothing Launches the Headphone Pro

CMF by Nothing has launched its first fully customizable headphones, the Headphone Pro, extending its CMF (Color-Material-Finish) ethos to over-ear audio. The design continues the vibrant and playful codes of the CMF line, while retaining the minimalist, retro aesthetics that define Nothing’s core design language. Available in Light Grey, Light Green, and Dark Grey, the Headphone Pro features an expressive and durable build with intuitive controls. A key element of its design is the inclusion of interchangeable ear cushions, inviting a new layer of user customization.

Arriving just two months after the original Nothing Headphone (1), the CMF Headphone Pro invites direct comparison. Both models feature hybrid active noise cancellation, capable of blocking up to 99% of ambient noise, but the CMF version outlasts its sibling with up to 100 hours of battery life, versus 35 hours with ANC on (80 hours with ANC off) on the Headphone (1).

This launch underscores Nothing’s strategic expansion of its audio ecosystem, offering distinct aesthetic choices without sacrificing core performance. The Headphone (1) delivers a sleeker profile and KEF-tuned sound, while the CMF Headphone Pro prioritizes extended runtime and user-driven customization at an even more friendly price point.

Certified for Hi-Res Audio and supporting the LDAC codec, the CMF Headphone Pro also integrates seamlessly with the Nothing X app on Android and iOS. Available now via Nothing’s webstore, it retails for £79 GBP (approx. $106 USD), while separate cushion parts can be purchased for £19 GBP (approx. $26 USD).
