Doja Cat is Coming to Fortnite as Fortnitemares Boss

Doja Cat is officially coming to Fortnite with a ‘Mother of Thorns’ skin, with the expectation that she will be a boss in the Fortnitemares event.

The rapper unveiled her upcoming Fortnite collab in an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, where he knowledge of Fortnite lore was put to the test in a special game of Real or Fake.

Doja Cat’s official arrival in Fortnite is expected next week on October 9, according to reliable leaker HypeX, with the Mother of Thorns taking a spot as a defeatable mini boss in Battle Royale.

Fortnitemares this year is expected to have several big collabs alongside Doja Cat, including a collab with Poppy’s Playtime, and will likely be the final big content drop before the season draws to an end.

Fortnite is already getting a revamp in today’s patch with the arrival of characters and weapons from Netflix hit KPop Demon Hunters, including a new limited-time game mode, before the big Fortnitemares event begins next week.

Other skins being introduced in the Fortnitemares event include a butcher wearing a pig mask and a new version of Peely with a ghostly green glow and visible internal skeleton.

That will then last until early November, when a new mini-season, expected to be themed around The Simpsons, takes center stage for the final month of Chapter 6, with Chapter 7 then launching in early December.
