In a post on social media, the Amazon Prime team revealed that Fallout season two has officially wrapped production. That doesn’t mean it’s coming soon, but it does mean that core filming is over and done with, and it’s now on to post-production. It could still be some months before we see the second season of the award-winning series drop.

The first season of Fallout debuted on April 10, 2024, launching to an overwhelmingly positive reception that praised the authenticity of the show and the actors who perfectly portrayed their roles.

Fallout’s second season has wrapped production and will now move into the editing and polishing phase before Kilter Films and Amazon Prime reveal a release date.
I’m hoping it’ll drop around the end of October, lining up nicely with one of the most Fallout-themed months on the calendar. It’s in October that the Fallout series debuted, and it’s also when the bombs fell in the universe, annihilating Earth as we know it.
Achievement unlocked! Fallout Season 2 has wrapped production.

Fans have responded positively to the news that Fallout season two has finished shooting, as you’d expect. There’s a diehard community backing up the post-apocalyptic series, ready and waiting to lap up whatever Bethesda (and any associated firms) can churn out.
I’m happy to say I’m one of those fans and can’t wait for the second season of this show to be released.
We don’t know much about the second season, but leaks have suggested that classic factions such as Caesar’s Legion will be front and centre, and we’ll likely see enemies like Super Mutants and Deathclaws.
