FBC: Firebreak is all set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam on June 17, 2025. Ahead of the release, the FBC: Firebreak team has provided details about their post-launch roadmap, which features two major updates for 2025.

FBC: Firebreak is a first-person, three-player cooperative shooter set in Remedy Entertainment’s Control universe. The upcoming game, which is also Remedy’s first self-published title, will be available on Day One of PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra and Premium). FBC: Firebreak Will Release 2 New Jobs in 2025
Revealed through their official X account (formerly Twitter), FBC Firebreak is planning two major updates for 2025, a fall update and a winter update. The developers had revealed that all playable content released post-launch, such as Jobs, will be free to all players.
Codename “Outbreak”
In the Fall Update, players will receive access to a new job site: Research Sector. The update will also introduce new gameplay systems, enemies, and earnable free rewards. There will also be new paid content (Classified Requisition), which features unique armour sets, sprays, skins and character voice packs.
Codename “Blackout”
In the Winter update, players will again receive access to a new job site; its name was not revealed. Moreover, there will be new equipment, enemies, free earnable awards, and paid content.
