Epic Games has confirmed a significant collaboration for Fortnite with Netflix’s animated hit, KPop Demon Hunters. The event is scheduled to launch on October 2, introducing a comprehensive content package that includes new cosmetic items and a unique, limited-time game mode.
The popular K-pop girl group HUNTR/X—Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—will all be available as new Outfits in the Item Shop, complete with themed Back Blings and Pickaxes inspired by their iconic weapons from the film. Players can also acquire new Emotes to celebrate the crossover. Going beyond typical cosmetic collaborations, this event introduces a new gameplay experience: the Demon Rush limited-time mode. This is a KPop Demon Hunters-themed iteration of the popular Horde Rush mode, where players team up to defeat endless waves of demons.
Furthermore, players will have access to new Mythic Items in Battle Royale and Blitz modes, including Rumi’s Empowered Sword and Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon consumable, adding new strategic elements to core gameplay.
This partnership marks one of the quickest turnarounds for a major collaboration following the success of the Netflix film, cementing the global impact of the KPop Demon Hunters franchise within the gaming world. The new Demon Rush Mode goes live between October 2 to November 1.
