GTA 6’s second trailer could be just weeks away according to a new report and Rockstar’s past marketing timelines.

It’s been over a year since Rockstar Games unveiled the first trailer for GTA 6 and ever since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting more details on the highly anticipated game.
Not counting the infamous leaked development footage that confirmed a return to Vice City along with the two playable characters Jason and Lucia, Rockstar has been mum on details surrounding GTA VI.
Now, with only months away from its Fall 2025 release, fans could finally get to learn more about GTA 6 in early April, according to info shared by podcast GTA VI O’Clock.
Rockstar Games reportedly planning to reveal second GTA 6 trailer in April
Weekly podcast GTA VI O’Clock delves into all the latest rumors, speculation and teasers surrounding the upcoming open world title and even interviewed some of the game’s developers in the past.
On March 6, they shared their first newsletter, revealing that they’d been in contact with insiders and one credible source “was more definitive in tipping April for Trailer 2.”
A few weeks back, we talked about R*s predicted marketing timeline for GTA6, mapping against key media beats in the GTA5 and RDR2 campaigns.
TLDR: we're tipping late March / April for Trailer 2, and a 5-6 month campaign until launch

Furthermore, they put together a timeline of Rockstar’s marketing for both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 to provide more of an idea about why April would be when trailer 2 debuts.
If GTA 6 arrives in late October or early November, then trailer 2 would be expected in April, along with a firm release date announcement.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has reiterated many times that GTA 6 is still on pace for Fall 2025, and with both GTA 5 and RDR2, there was a big marketing push when they were a few months out from release.
An April trailer would also coincide with Take-Two’s May 2025 earnings call a month later, so signs are certainly pointing toward something coming in the next few weeks.
This information comes amid reports that GTA 6 could have an “unheard of” price tag of over $100 – something that we could see confirmed once a second trailer debuts.
In any case, with VI still locked in for this Fall, it’s only a matter of time before Rockstar finally gives the fans what they’ve been waiting for.
