inZOI is coming to PS5 next year, so some of you who couldn't run it on PC can actually play it

Seemingly content to spoil all of the game’s gamescom 2025 reveals, inZOI developers have made yet another announcement just days before the show's start. Less than a week ago, we got details on the game’s first-ever DLC pack.

Today, Krafton and the developer of the life sim game have revealed that it’s on its way to PlayStation 5.

It’s a little strange that inZOI’s developers even felt the need to hype up the game’s appearance at gamescom, unless there’s some other, secret, announcement that remains under wraps. Regardless, the PS5 announcement is pretty brief, really only serving to confirm the port’s existence.

inZOI's first DLC brings a new city with summer vacation vibes, and will be completely free to all players when it launches in less than two weeks

Plus the game is finally coming to Mac!

The PS5 version doesn’t have a release date, but it will be available on Sony’s console in the first half of 2026. Krafton said that it plans to replicate the same experience on PS5, adding that it will be “optimised for console”.

Controls will be the biggest challenge, of course, and Krafton said they’ve been reworked to fit the more limited controller. Game performance is another key area for the team, it seems, which bodes well.

It’s worth noting that inZOI is currently in Steam Early Access, but Krafton did not say whether the PS5’s upcoming release will also be in a similar state. Early Access games on PlayStation are rare, so it could be that the game’s 1.0 release on PC will coincide with its launch on PS5.
