Skydance Games has announced that MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra has been delayed to early 2026 in a new social media post.

The post was uploaded to the official Skydance Games X (formerly Twitter) account, where it was said that the additional time “will allow us to add more polish.”

“Taking this additional time will allow us to add more polish, and make sure we give you the best possible experience, and one that lives up to our vision,” it said.

They continued to say that the team has “some exciting things in store and looking forward to sharing more soon,” which likely implies that the team will have a bigger announcement and reveal in the coming months.

Presumably, this could mean that we get a better glimpse of the game during Summer Game Fest which is set to take place in June.

MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra was first teased during the D23 Expo in September 2022, which the announcement of the games name being announced two years later at the Game Developers Conference (GDC).

In July 2024, it was announced that Plaion will be publishing the game. Skydance Games’ co-president Julian Beak said that “we believe PLAION is the perfect publishing partner for the multiplatform, worldwide release of MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra.” They added that the publisher “shares our ambitious vision for the project.”

So far, the game has only received a 2 and a half minute story trailer for its marketing, but perhaps Skydance Games’ latest tease couldd suggest a new trailer is on its way.
