MindsEye is poised to be released on June 10, injecting what many have dubbed a GTA clone into the gaming space. It’s the first major title from Build a Rocket Boy, a studio founded by former Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies, but it hasn’t received the greatest marketing campaign, truth be told.

Earlier today, a MindsEye gameplay leak surfaced online, with a streamer broadcasting ‘secret’ content to the world, offering a plethora of reactions as his chat responded in kind. In the few minutes of footage leaked online, we see open-world driving gameplay and combat mechanics.
One Month Away
It’s hard to believe that MindsEye is only one month away from release, given how the marketing campaign for the title has been pretty thin. Leslie Benzies and his team at Build a Rocket Boy were able to secure hefty investments and a publishing deal with IO Interactive, but MindsEye is at risk of going relatively unnoticed.
Now that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed, people will be hurting for an open-world adventure title like this to fill the gap.

The recent MindsEye gameplay leaks surfaced on Reddit, where users discussed various aspects of the title, including the lack of marketing that has rendered some unaware of the game’s existence.
It doesn’t look awful, but it doesn’t look at all memorable from what we’ve seen in these leaks. I’m of the opinion that MindsEye could wind up being an entirely forgettable and run-of-the-mill third-person shooter that has no follow-up or legs post-launch.
I’m willing to be proven wrong, though. MindsEye will be released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series platforms on June 10.
