‘Ninja Kamui’ Secures Multi-Season Renewal on Adult Swim

Adult Swim has renewed Ninja Kamui for two more seasons, expanding one of its most action-packed anime originals. The announcement was made during the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, confirming that Season 2 and Season 3 are currently in development.

Directed by Sunghoo Park, known for his work on Jujutsu Kaisen, the series has built a strong following with its intense action and gripping storytelling. Despite some controversial story shifts in Season 1, Ninja Kamui has maintained a strong following, leading to its expansion into a multi-season project.

Produced by Sola Entertainment, the upcoming seasons will continue Higan’s journey, with Season 2 officially titled Ninja Kamui Season Two: Red Vendetta. This new installment will introduce a fresh conspiracy that threatens his world, promising more intense battles and unexpected twists. While a release date has not been confirmed, anticipation remains high for the next chapter in the evolving Ninja Kamui saga.
