Nintendo To Raise Switch Prices In The United States

Nintendo has announced that, as of August 3, it will be raising the prices of the original Nintendo Switch “family of systems and products” in the United States (US).

Similar to when they announced a price change for Canada back in June, the company is blaming it on “current market conditions”.

“These include Nintendo Switch – OLED Model, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite and select Nintendo Switch accessories,” the company said.

Even “certain Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, select amiibo, and the Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo” will see price changes.

What won’t change “at this time” is pricing for the Nintendo Switch 2, physical and digital Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games, and Nintendo Switch Online memberships.

When the pricing changes take effect, it will be reflected on the Nintendo Store website.
