Prime Video has renewed Fallout for a third season.

The news arrives ahead of the show’s Season 2 premiere, which is currently scheduled for a December 2025 window. “We are absolutely thrilled that our global Prime Video customers will be able to delve deeper into the wonderfully surreal and captivating world of ‘Fallout,’” said Vernon Sanders, global head of television, Amazon MGM Studios, via Variety.
The exec added, “Jonah, Lisa, Geneva, and Graham have done an exceptional job bringing this beloved video game franchise to vivid life on Prime Video. Together with our amazing partners at Bethesda Games and Bethesda Softworks, we are delighted to announce a third season of ‘Fallout,’ well ahead of the much-anticipated debut of Season Two.”
Fallout is a series adaptation of Bethesda‘s famed video game franchise, which premiered in April 2024. The show takes place after an apocalyptic nuclear war that forced humans to live in underground bunkers for refuge, leaving the world above ground to fend for itself.
Ella Purnell stars as Lucy MacLean, who leaves her bunker to find her father after getting kidnapped by raiders. Also joining the main cast are Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Moises Arias, Kyle Maclachlan and Xelia Mendes-Jones. Season two “will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.”
