Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Gets First Full Trailer

The first full trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has been released ahead of its release later this year.

The new trailer, which you can watch below, gives everyone an overview of the movie’s premise. It also shows the first look at the debuting Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by Keanu Reeves.

As you can see in the trailer, Shadow is the main nemesis in the upcoming movie. It even gets to the point where Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles go to Dr. Robotnik, played once again by Jim Carrey, for help. We also see the debut of Carrey as Gerald Robotnik, Eggman’s grandfather.

What we don’t see in the trailer is whether or not Dr. Robotnik and Shadow ultimately team up at any point in the film. In the various games, they have worked side by side.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 releases in theaters on December 20.
