Sony Appears to Have Leaked Helldivers 2's Next Warbond

The latest in a long line of publisher/developer snafus, it seems Sony has leaked the name and description of the next Warbond pack coming to Helldivers 2, whether Arrowhead was ready or not.

Spied by IGN, players on Reddit have reported getting a PlayStation notification for the game's current Warbond, Viper Commandos, but the attached text has nothing to do with that jungle camo-themed pack. Instead, it relates to one called "Freedom's Flame", described like this: "Dial up the temperature to cremate our enemies of justice, Helldivers! The Freedom's Flame Premium Warbond is deploying to your Destroyers Acquisitions panel. Includes fiery weapons, life-saving armour, cool capes, fresh emotes, player cards, and patterns."

For fans of flamethrowers, this all sounds like great news, and now perhaps that pyro build we've always wanted to try will be viable. As it stands, we've scorched ourselves and our allies as often as not, so with some luck, this premium pack will contain all the required tools. We'll just have to hold out until it's formally announced.
