Stranger Wings: KFC drops Stranger Things menu with red burger, ‘secret’ sauce and more

KFC is stepping straight into the Upside Down with a new Stranger Things collab that rebrands the chain as Hawkins Fried Chicken across the UK and Ireland.

With the first of three Stranger Things final-season volumes hitting Netflix on November 26, KFC is rolling out a limited menu that looks like it crawled out of Vecna’s lunchbox.

The new items arrive November 10 and lead with a showpiece burger featuring a bright red bun with black sesame seeds. Inside is a spicy Zinger fillet, cheese, crunchy pickled slaw, classic burger dressing, and a brand-new Sweet and Spicy Secret Sauce. KFC calls it “saucy, juicy and unapologetically bold.”

And this is only the opening act. The collab runs into early 2026, with more drops expected as Netflix releases Volume 2 on Christmas Day and Volume 3 on New Year’s Eve.

This is “just the beginning,” KFC said, already teasing future surprises, warning that “something is coming and you’ll want to be there when the lights start flickering.”
