Ubisoft has announced the delay of the next scheduled DLC for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. In a post on social media on Tuesday, the game’s developers said that the upcoming DLC won’t be happening as part of Year 6 of the game.

“Our team is dedicated to continuing to build the future of The Division 2,” the statement starts. “We have exciting updates in store including the new season we can’t wait for you to play starting on February 25th.”

Then came the bombshell.

“We know you are eagerly awaiting the release of the upcoming DLC,” Ubisoft said. “To ensure we deliver the best possible experience, we’ve decided to take a little extra time to refine it, therefore the DLC will not ship during Year 6.

“Thank you for your patience and support. Stay tuned—more updates are headed your way soon!”

The new story DLC was part of announced revitalization of the game. It was originally scheduled to release in 2024 before it was delayed to 2025. There was no mention in Ubisoft’s announcement if the DLC will be part of Year 7 later in 2025 or be pushed into 2026.
