Twitch streamer QueenGloriaRP has been banned after she appeared to accidentally show off her viewbotter during a live broadcast before nonchalantly ending her stream, much to viewers’ shock.

Viewbotting has been a controversial subject in the streaming community, with both Twitch and Kick creators getting accused of artificially boosting their numbers.

Given how viewers and unique chatters go a long way to helping creators reach Partner status and make money from their broadcasts, there’s an incentive to break the rules.

On March 18, Kick and Twitch streamer QueenGloriaRP was live when she appeared to open up the completely wrong tab, unveiling what looked like a viewbot app on her screen.

The program included options to increase the number of viewers, how long the botting would last for, and a panel to write messages on behalf of the fake accounts.

At first, QueenGloriaRP didn’t seem to realize the tab was open and kept it up for a few seconds before spotting her mistake.

“Um okay, I will be right back. I’ll just come back in a second,” she said before disappearing for a moment. “I needed to do a little… my OBS was asking me to reset something and I needed to stop streaming.”

Footage of the incident was posted to X by users ‘RandomGamerTRGD’ and ‘WhizKick,’ who revealed more info about QueenGloriaRP’s broadcasts.

“Graphs show wild spikes,” they noted. “33 unique chatters. This is not organic. Verified on Kick, but these bots are doing the heavy lifting.”

Goes live again acting like nothing happened. 🤪

How about her Kick? 🤔

“Twitch and Kick need to wake up — this is fraud in plain sight. Who’s holding these ‘verified’ streamers accountable?” WhizKick asked.

Twitch streamer responds to viewbotting controversy

According to the streamer, she had been noticing her numbers change on Kick and Twitch. While she thought this was natural at first, her tune changed when a friend apparently suggested that someone else was viewbotting for her.

“Yesterday a quick Google led me to this website…and it turns out anyone can viewbot anyone, without their consent, for like 60 CENTS. What the actual f**k? Is it that easy?” she asked.

📍Addressing the post accusing me of viewbotting (written by @WhizKick). It was indeed a major slip and it’s actually funny it happened 😹 but let’s talk about it then…

About 4 or 5 days ago my numbers noticeably changed on Kick and on Twitch. At first I thought “oh wow, I’m…

“I had the thing opened as one of the tabs while I was live streaming and it showed on stream, but I don’t and have never viewbotted before. If anything, this just shows how a noob and clueless I am to the whole thing. And yeah, I deleted the VOD immediately because I was afraid of… well, this.”

Gloria banned from Twitch

Twitch banned Gloria from the platform just after addressing the situation on X.

“This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” reads her channel.

Gloria added that she would be addressing the situation in a stream on March 20, but viewers aren’t buying her explanation.

“This genuinely has to be the worst excuse of viewbotting I’ve ever seen in over 5 years of streaming,” one replied.

“Might be the funniest way to lie about viewbotting,” another mocked.

This incident comes as Kick star Trainwreck has made claims about how deep the viewbotting problem is, alleging that some of the biggest clout-chasing streamers are paying $20K a week for viewbots.
