Streaming star Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has revealed that she will put everything she can into finding the stream sniper who attacked her and Cinna during their Sis-A-Thon event.

On March 2, Valkyrae and Cinna revealed that they would be ending their Sis-A-Thon streaming marathon prematurely after a man attacked them during an IRL stream on Santa Monica pier.
The pair, who were joined by Emiru and Rosie for the stream, fled from the man after they refused to give him their phone numbers. He followed them and threatened to attack them before lunging towards them.
That prompted their stream to go dark as the streamers sought help from security and police. It took a few hours, but they reassured fans they were safe but had been shaken up by the incident.

Since then, Rae has revealed that she will be investing anything she can into finding the stream sniper as he is still at large.
“He is still out there but I am investing as much as I can to find this guy,” she said during her March 3 stream. “If you have any information, I would like it. We are going to find him and I am going to do everything I can to get this guy.”
Cinna added that the pair “have evidence that he knew who we were” and there are, of course, images of his face from the stream.
The streamers also revealed some further details from the incident, including seeking shelter in a store.
“I think when we went into the store, he backed off because it was a lot of people, so we don’t where he was, we didn’t know where he went,” a visibly emotional Cinna said. “We had to hide in a shed for 15 minutes until the cops came.”

“It was terrifying,” Valkyrae added, before she also defended the staff who helped. “We didn’t know if he was still around or if he’d changed.”
Top streamers have urged fellow content creators to hire security for their IRL streams as a result of what happened too.
