Marvel Rivals Brings Back Season 0 Battle Pass for Limited Time

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of its Closed Alpha Test, Marvel Rivals has reintroduced the original Season 0 Battle Pass, offering players a chance to unlock exclusive content from the game’s early days. Available from May 15 to May 29, 2025, this limited-time event allows both new and returning players to purchase the Season 0 Battle Pass for 590 Lattice (approximately $4.99).

Once acquired, the Battle Pass does not expire, enabling players to progress and unlock rewards at their own pace. The pass includes five pages of themed content, featuring skins such as “Galactic Claw” Black Panther, “God of Magic” Doctor Strange, “Empress of the Cosmos” Hela, and “Galactic Wings” Mantis, along with various emotes, sprays, nameplates, and MVP animations

The re-release coincides with the “Galacta’s Gift” event, which offers all players free in-game rewards like nameplates, sprays, Chrono Shield Cards, and Costume Coins redeemable for debut costumes of any of the 33 heroes featured in Season 0.

NetEase Games has indicated that future returns of past Battle Passes may occur, though any such plans will span at least two seasons and be priced at a minimum of 20% higher than the original rate.

The return of the Season 0 Battle Pass has sparked mixed reactions within the community. While many players appreciate the opportunity to obtain previously unavailable content, others express concerns about the exclusivity of original items. Nonetheless, the move aligns with NetEase’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and player experience.
