The Silent Hill remake is officially in development.

Konami announced the exciting news at the Konami Press Start Live showcase, sharing a teaser with the logo and its theme music. The video game developers revealed that the remake will be helmed by Bloober Team, although not additional details like a release date were unveiled.
Konami and Bloober Team’s tandem was announced earlier this February with minor information. This will mark the second collaboration between the Japanese and Polish developers following the Silent Hill 2 remake. It proved to be a success, receiving five nominations at The Game Awards including Best Action/Adventure Game.
Silent Hill was first released in 1999 for the PlayStation. It followed a man named Harry Mason who goes on a search for his missing adopted daughter in the town of Silent Hill. The survival horror video game is widely considered as one of the best video games of all time.
Stay tuned for more details.
