GKIDS Sets North America Theatrical Release for ‘Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution’ Film

The intense supernatural action of the Jujutsu Kaisen is returning to theaters with the announcement of the compilation film, Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution. This new cinematic release is a compilation of the cataclysmic “Shibuya Incident” arc – a plot-altering conflict that irrevocably changed the landscape of the Jujutsu world – seamlessly combined with the initial footage of the story’s newest chapter.

The teaser trailer highlights sequences from the compilation and teases footage from the new season, positioning the film as both a recap and a forward-looking bridge for fans familiar with the series’ rise since its 2020 TV debut and cinematic releases such as Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Crucially, Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution will provide fans with an exclusive preview, including the first two episodes of the upcoming anime season, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1, before the full season premieres in Japan in January 2026.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution is scheduled to premiere in Japan on November 7, where it will open simultaneously on IMAX and regular screens. Following its Japanese debut, the film will open in North America on December 5 via GKIDS with both original Japanese audio and an English dub.
